2013 Isle of Elsi update

Hello again, future Isle of Elsi readers.  Last year I hoped that I would start this webcomic this year, and this year I'm hoping it will start next year!  This has been a very complicated, stressful year for me and I am dealing with a lot of different things, so unfortunately this project is still currently on the back burner.

I still think about it every day though!  And it is still the project that I am most excited about.  When I do have a spare moment, I try to chip away at it.  The fourth and final draft of the first "origin" story is complete and ready to draw, and ever since I finished that I have been working on a lot of world building.

I designed a whole village on paper (including all the people who live and work there), and now I'm working on building a quick, simple version of the village in Google Sketchup.  Here's what I have so far:

I also have a binder full of ideas for other stories.  I've said this before, but I'll say it again: once I start this project, I want to draw it for a long, long time!  I just hope I can get everything in my life sorted out to give me enough time to work on it.  Here's hoping 2014 is the year!
