The Isle of Elsi Book Two Kickstarter just wrapped up, at 122% of its funding goal! THANK YOU to the 180 backers who made this possible, and to all the folks who helped me spread the word about the campaign!

Last week the Isle of Elsi Book Two Kickstarter reached 100% of its funding goal! The campaign continues until July 7 and any extra funds will help cover additional costs and allow me to order more copies of the book! Thanks to everyone who backed the project, or helped me spread the word about it!

This morning in a Kickstarter update I revealed the quote that will adorn the back cover of Isle of Elsi Book Two, by Luke Pearson:

Luke is one of my favorite creators, so it really means a lot to me to receive this thoughtful quote about my work from him. If you have never read any of his Hilda books, you should check them out! They are some of my favorite comics ever, and it has been such a joy sharing them with my kids.

The Isle of Elsi Book Two Kickstarter is now LIVE!!!

The goal for this project is to print the second book collection of my award-winning, Eisner-nominated webcomic, Isle of Elsi! It’s a fun, all-ages, fantasy comic with dragons, wizards, talking wolves and lots of silly wordplay. They are the best comics I’ve ever made!

I’m offering lots of print reward tiers including copies of Book One, an activity book, and comic books!

My amazingly talented wife, Claire Sanders, has created some incredible 9″ plush toys of the “ite” characters, as well as two 13″ Nogard the Dragon plush toys!

For the last several weeks on social media I have been counting down to the launch of the seventh Isle of Elsi story, “R.J. Jr. in The Underground Underground” using my “ite” characters (one for each week remaining).

I’m happy to announce that the story has finally begun! A new page is posted every Thursday which you can read for free here on the Isle of Elsi website. This story is 113 pages, so I’ll be posting it for the next two years!
